Kristen looks forward to serving at a company where working as unto the Lord is emphasized. As a niece-in-law of the Martins, we have watched Kristen acquire and enhance her skills in the accounting profession and are blessed to welcome her on Team Forge. She has extensive experience with individual tax returns, as well as a few corporate, partnership, and nonprofit returns. From 2005 to 2010, she functioned as a financial planning assistant and senior tax preparer at Tyler Wealth Management in Indiana. And now you know where she met her husband! In two of Kristen’s previous positions, she also prepared returns in the low-income housing industry.

Her marriage of fifteen years has been blessed with three children. She’s thankful for close proximity to her parents, siblings and their families. When Kristen is not at her laptop or reading, she likes to stay in motion: working out, substitute teaching in the off-season, traveling, and travel planning. Her current dream is a return trip to Europe with her family. She knows there is more to explore than England, Norway, and Iceland—destinations of their first trip.

Of Faith, She says, “I can’t imagine my life without my faith. It impacts every major decision I make and the paths I have taken in life. I especially know that God comforts in hard times.”
